NERO is a game of intertwined destinies. We have put forth a realm in which your character will spend its life. It is up to you to decide how you wish to interact with this realm and its cast of characters. Will you be a heroic knight? A mercenary? A murdering thief? The fate of our land is ultimately influenced by the decisions of our player-characters. It is up to you to help determine the ending, through action or inaction. Whether or not a world is revolutionized or falls to ruin may depend on the actions of few. You are not simply an observer; you are an active member of an evolving fantastical world. NERO is an acronym for the New England Role-playing Organization, an international network of more than 40 live-action role-playing chapters across the United States and Canada which has been entertaining role-players and medieval fantasy enthusiasts since 1989. As a member of NERO International you can freely take your character on a journey across the continent of Avalon to explore new lands and realms.

Replenish yourself or warm by the fire of the local tavern, study the way of magicks of both the earth and the stars at the local Celestial & Earth Magic Guilds, build a workshop to enhance your craft, join the militia, become a knight, or raise an undead army. Scour the woods for adventure or rescue a damsel in distress. All this and more…your character's attitudes, ambitions, and history are yours to define.
